The FORCE Technology P-SCAN system supplied to Italsabi is an equipment used for mechanized inspections and presentation of data in graphic form.
It can be used both during the construction of a vessel and during its control in service.
The equipment includes the following modules: • Portable computer enslaved by appropriate SW, to carry out the calibrations, carry out the check, acquire data and present them in graphic form.
• The P-scan processor containing the UT instrumentation circuits, digitizing circuits and scanner controls.
• The AGS-2 scanner that moves the transducers
• The interface module
• The water pump for continuous probe / piece coupling Using the scanner's ability to have a movement on 2 axes that can be controlled in speed and in increments, different scanning methods can be set.
